Got this meme from book blogger/booktuber Elizziebooks, who got it from another book blogger, Ginger! I loved, loved, loved this idea because if there's anything I love as much as reading, it's music.
For the past I'd say 10 years of my life I'd had a serious love (obsession) for the band Maroon 5. I started listening to them because I hung out with my aunt a lot, who loved them. So every week when I spent the weekend with my aunt, we would just drive around listening to Maroon 5 and go to the mall. Which is one of the many reasons I love them, listening to them just reminds me of a really happy, carefree time in my life. I can relate so many good things in my life to Maroon 5, from the time I spent with my aunt to "concerts" me and one of my best friends have every summer in the car just driving around with the windows down, singing our hearts out.
To me their music is just feel good music, where I know that if I listen to them no matter what my mood is, I'll feel a little bit better. I don't even know how many nights I've spent just driving around listening to them because I just needed to clear my head. No matter what problem, whether it's boy drama, family issues, school, just blah days, I know if I listen to Maroon 5 I'll feel better. They're like Maroon 5 enorphins!
They actually just released their new album last Wednesday! It's pretty different than what their other albums sound like. But that's another great thing about them, every album is always different. Adam Levine's voice could possibly be my favorite sound in this entire world. It just has such a unique sound to it, I think he's amazing.
The best part is, Adam was Tony Lucca's coach on The Voice! Two of my favorite artists together, could it get any better? When they sang Yesterday by The Beatles on The Voice, I thought my heart was going to explode. Their voices together was just beautiful :)
Any other Maroon 5 fans out there??
