Got this meme from book blogger/booktuber Elizziebooks, who got it from another book blogger, Ginger! I loved, loved, loved this idea because if there's anything I love as much as reading, it's music.
I absolutely love country music, I could listen to it all day and be completely content. I used to hate it, my dad listens to it and I just thought it was the lamest thing. But a really good friend of mine is also obsessed and slowly would make me listen to songs and artists and before I knew it I was completely obsessed. When I would put my iPod or phone on shuffle maybe 1 out of every 12 or 13 songs would be country, now it's 1 in every 3 or 4. I don't know how it happened but somewhere along the road, I became obsessed.
One country man that I'm really loving lately (other than my favorite country man, Luke Bryan) is Frankie Ballard. A month or so ago I was in the car with my cousin and she kept saying how she had to show me this amazing new country singer. I'm so happy she did, but so sad I didn't know about him before!!
My favorite song of his is "Tell Me You Get Lonely", I think it's just the sweetest song. The entire song he keeps saying how she made a mistake and that he knows she's lonely without him but then he flips it and says how he's just been waiting for her to say that she still wants to be with him and his bags have been packed. So cute.
My cousin actually hated country music until she saw him preform this song at a country festival she went to with her boyfriend. Which I think is a true testament as to how great it really is! :)
I just love everything about his music right now, from his playing to the gravelly sound in voice.
I could just listen to his music all day!
